• description: These photos are a study for a video I will be completing in the fall. They document an area surrounding the Mets stadium in Queens, New York. City ordinances are being passed to demolish the area before the new stadium in unveiled. In its current state, it seems like a third-world territory of car parts and chop shops, complete with gravel roads and occasional roosters.

  This series of digital photos documents religious-themed retail outlets, abandoned convenience stores and fast food restaurants in a Texas suburb where I grew up. The compositions are symmetrical and static. With their geometrical forms and loss of signage, these structures can be viewed as modern monuments to consumerism or ruins bearing witness to a mass exodus.
